About The Event

This fun introduction to a watershed will take students on a journey through the ecology of the Upper Chattahoochee River Watershed. Students will:

  • Learn how pollution affects the water quality of a watershed, and the biotic factors that depend on water.
  • Discover the different parts of a watershed including lakes, ponds, streams,      groundwater and how they are interconnected.
  • Differentiate between biotic and abiotic factors in a watershed. 

*All sessions will follow the Forsyth County Parks and Recreation COVID-19 policies.
