Home School Thursdays: Let’s Build A Dragonfly (Ages 5-10)

Students listen to a story about dragonflies and learn how they are different from other macroinvertebrates. Students will also have an opportunity to build their own dragonfly.

Educational Objectives: 

Students will:

• Learn about the life cycle of a dragonfly
• Identify living and non-living parts of a habitat
• Compare and contrast dragonflies and damselflies
• Create a dragonfly with focus on tactile learning
